Shadow Shot Sunday - Sultry Gaggle

Shadow Shot Sunday 2 returns in a hot and humid spell in Southern CT. On Pickett's Pond in Osbornedale State Park in neighboring Derby, a gaggle of geese seem to be weighing their options as to wether to stand or swim. Perhaps a cooling swim is what these land-lubber waterfowl need. If I were in their webbed feet, I might too...

  3. I often wonder where that phrase "gaggle of geese" originated. Do you know? Thanks for linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2.

  4. Geese sometimes seem not to have a care in the world.

  5. Good question asked by MMT! I wonder too the origin of that word. The geese seem quite content with the weather.
