Friday Hunt 2017.2.8

It has been a busy week, so it is nice to to relax and post is a great meme Friday Hunt, kindly hosted by Teresa. The prompts are interesting, so away we go...

Starts with 'H'. I found a few, although some explaining may be in order. On the top row, is a Horse, this from 1992. To the right is Grandpa, I guess in 1940, at a restaurant/hotel called the Kent House. I don't know where, perhaps in Ohio. And he often dressed up handsomely...
To the left, we are in 1999 with nine year old Cameron is sitting on his Grandmother's 1988 Honda Civic. To the right are Houses along the Housatonic River in Shelton CT. Patti captured this while on a friend's boat last week. Nice neighborhood!
Simple. I was unsure, but here is the simplicity I think. Captured by the always lovely Patti on last week's boat ride on the Housatonic. Simple, smooth water and peaceful...
Green. Here is some greenery at a local farmer's market. The Leaves and pickling cucumbers are a delicious shade of green. Thanks Teresa!

  2. Great variety for the letter H. It does look like a beautiful area along the river--perfect for simple. The greens look delicious. Thank you so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Have a great week!

  3. That was a nice boat ride, lots of pretty scenery from looking at your samples. Thank you for showing us. I am not familiar with that river though I did live in New Hampshire for three years. Sunsets are both very simple and also very complicated in the science of their composition. Yours is really nice.
Sorry I'm late, it seemed a busy weekend with Harvey and all. He is going away to the east now, we had about 40 inches of rain here. But somehow, our retention pond at the end of our street, though full, did not spill out to flood us.

  4. That is a wonderful shot of different shades of green - very inviting. Makes me want a salad. I love the vintage horse picture, and your handsome grandpa sure looks happy! Beautiful shot from Patti - a very peaceful and relaxing scene. We all need a bit of that these days!
