Shadow Shot Sunday - Urban Bucolic
For this week's Shadow Shot Sunday 2, I look at our neighbor to the north, Seymour CT. The lower Naugatuck Valley has been very industrial, but you'd never know it in On top, we see the river looking east from Derby Avenue; below from the Broad Street Bridge. I chose bucolic as that is how it feels - if we don't look too hard, the urban disappears completely...

Shadow Shot Sunday - Looking Warmer
It is cold in the Winter of 2017 in Southern New England. However, there are days that are unseasonably warm (that is, not quite as chilly). Here we are facing north on the Ansonia River Walk alongside the Naugatuck River. The long southerly sun makes for a great subject for Shadow Shot Sunday 2. It may not be the yellow brick road, but the shadows point the way onward - but not to Kansas, alas, Dorothy and Toto...
