Shadow Shot Sunday 2 returns in a hot and humid spell in Southern CT. On Pickett's Pond in Osbornedale State Park in neighboring Derby, a gaggle of geese seem to be weighing their options as to wether to stand or swim. Perhaps a cooling swim is what these land-lubber waterfowl need. If I were in their webbed feet, I might too...
Wonderful nature shots ~ love the ducks ~ ^_^

What lies beyond the bridge, a dankness to swim through?
ReplyDeleteI often wonder where that phrase "gaggle of geese" originated. Do you know? Thanks for linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2.
ReplyDeleteGeese sometimes seem not to have a care in the world.
ReplyDeleteGood question asked by MMT! I wonder too the origin of that word. The geese seem quite content with the weather.
