Shadow Shot Sunday 2 - Some Street Fair Scenes

It's nice to be back at Shadow Shot Sunday 2 Last Saturday the city held its annual Harvest Festival. a chairman of the Ansonia Cultural Commission, I oversaw all aspects of the event and was responsible for securing (and approving payment for) the entertainment, ponies and petting zoo.

Lots of work (and all volunteer), but with the magnificent sunny and warm (68°F / 20°C) day, it was a success! 'Harvey' was our mascot, the kids magic act had bubbles and the music selection was nice, the shadows a stylish byproduct...see the slideshow for more:

Shadow Shot Sunday - Side Order

For Shadow Shot Sunday 2, I went this morning to the grand opening of a new eatery on Main Street in Ansonia - Thigh High Chicken. An interesting concept, all chicken made with thigh meat. My sandwich was their Buffalo - menu says 'breaded thigh, blue cheese, celery remoulade, pickled carrot'. It was great, the dark meat adding lots of character. I will be back :)

My side order of shadow is a wheelchair height look at the eatery from the sidewalk on the shady side of Main Street. A fine day for snacks and shadows!
